2015 Exploration Completes on Leota Gold Prospect

Blog by Goldbank Mining Corporation | October 13th, 2015

Goldbank Mining Corporation (“Goldbank”)(TSX.V-GLB) announces that it has completed its 2015 exploration program on the Leota Gold Property situated in the historical Klondike Goldfield in the Yukon Territory, Canada. 2015 exploration included pitting, trenching and rock and soil sampling in selected portions of the Property.

Pitting and trenching program’s objectives were to expose the bedrock, collect samples and record petrological, mineralogical and structural information to improve knowledge of lode gold mineralization and to identify new exploration targets. Soil sampling was designed to test the weathered residues of precious and base metal mineralization in the bedrock near the historical and recent placer mining areas.

The pitting and trenching program utilized a rubber-track back-hoe. A total of 44 pits and/or trenches were excavated, logged and sampled. The soil survey program was conducted on four grids with additional rock sampling and data logging conducted on outcrops located within and outside the pitting, trenching and soil sampling grids.
